Chapter 41. Upgrading Your PC’s Case and Power Supply
Upgrading your PC’s case and power supply may seem like a fairly inconsequential upgrade, but there is a method to this madness. As you begin to upgrade or, more specifically, add components to your PC such as additional hard disk drives, CD-RW or DVD drives, removable media drives, and so on, you are adding components that require both space and electrical power. Not too many PCs leave the factory with four or five empty drive bays. And if you have been giving some thought to adding a CD-RW drive, a Zip drive, and a second hard disk drive, you might be stopped dead in your tracks when you discover that you have only one empty drive bay left in your PC (if that).
