Sending and Receiving YouTube Email
Commenting publically on another user’s video is one thing, but sometimes you want to comment more directly—and in private. That’s why YouTube has its own internal email system, which enables its users to send and receive email messages via the YouTube site.
Sending Email Messages
Sending an email message to a YouTube user is relatively easy and it’s done from within your web browser. Follow these steps:
1. Click the user’s name on any video or search results page to go to that user’s channel page.
