The Galaxy Note phone lacks an On-Off switch. Unlike the common table lamp, your phone has no switch to flip to turn on the thing. Likewise, it has no switch for turning off the phone. Instead, the job is handled by something called the Power/Lock button, which serves several functions beyond the on-off thing.
