I am not the first, nor will I be the last to point out that human beings have been able to read papyrus, chiseled inscriptions on stones, road signs, hand-illustrated, and then machine-printed books for tens of centuries without the need for batteries and an on-off button. Can we agree with the following? A NOOK tablet is not a book. (Hey, I just might have finally figured out what NOOK means: not a book.)
