The cellular models of the Galaxy Note and Galaxy Tab do have a phone number. It's not a dial-up phone number; your cellular provider merely uses the number to bill you. So as far as phone calls are concerned, you're just as out-of-luck as owners of the Wi-Fi–only tablets.
