After the Consistency Group is prepared, you can then quiesce the host by forcing the host and the application to stop I/ Os and flush any outstanding write I/ Os to disk. This process differs for each application and for each operating system. One guaranteed way to quiesce the host is to stop the application and unmount the VDisks from the host. 8.
