So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Those problems can be related to either a hardware fault or to a software problem on the switch. Hardware defects are normally easier to find. Here is a short list about the possible hardware failures: Switch power, fan, or cooling Application- specific integrated circuit ( ASIC) Installed SFP Fiber optic cables Software failures are more difficult to analyze, and in most cases, you need the data collection and you need to involve IBM technical support.
