Refreshing a Document
As discussed earlier in the chapter, a document contains multiple components that make up the formatted reports and analysis. When you want to retrieve new data from a data source, you are sending a query to a database.
To refresh a query, select the Refresh Data button on the web viewer toolbar.
NOTE A document may be set to force a query refresh as soon as you open the document. Also, the report author decides whether a shared document initially contains data or is blank.
