Selectors
Selectors are primarily used to make selections or interact with the data. Much of the interactivity that is available within Dashboard Design is attributed to these components. Selector components basically move data from a source to a destination depending on the label item selected. This data can be used to display filtered data, trigger an event like dynamic visibility, or supply a prompt value for a query.

Many different selector components are available within Dashboard Design. Some selectors are simple, like the check box, while others can be very sophisticated, like the scorecard selector.
