Properties Overview
A component’s properties tell it what to display, how to display it, and what to do upon some action. This allows the components and the model to be dynamic. All components have properties, and many of these properties are common across several components.
Typically, the Properties panel appears on the right side of the Dashboard Design workspace. If the Properties panel is not visible, you can display it by pressing ALT-ENTER or selecting View | Properties from the Menu toolbar.
