Creating an Information Space
When you create the Information Space, the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise server will pre-calculate and pre-aggregate data so that users can quickly find, explore, and navigate with the Information Space. This is in contrast to a Web Intelligence query, for example, in which a user is querying the relational data source directly. It’s important to keep in mind that the data within the Information Space is not real time. As an administrator, you can schedule the Information Space to be re-indexed on an automatic basis.
