4.1 Introduction to the Napoleon Plot/Swimmer Plot
The Napoleon Plot, also known as the swimmer plot, is useful for assessing the safety of a treatment. With a Napoleon Plot, you can convey a variety of information either from one data source or multiple data sources in one graph. As mentioned in Harris (2014), another way to use the Napoleon Plot is to use it to assess the Maximum Tolerated Dose (MTD) exclusively.
