I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Frequency bands of operation

| (X-band | 7–9 GHz, for interest only, mostly used for military operation) |
There are a number of different definitions for frequency bands, depending on whether for commercial, military or space use – the above are those broadly accepted for commercial satellite usage. C-band is divided into a number of sub-bands (with ranges in GHz), as follows:
Standard C-band

| Downlink frequency | 3.7–4.2 |
Extended C-band
| Uplink frequency | 5.85–6.425 |
| Downlink frequency | 3.625–4.2 |
