Work with Your Visual Aids

We’ve just talked about how to talk and stand while giving a presentation. That’s a lot to master, but the art of delivering a presentation doesn’t end there. You also need to get comfortable with your visual aids as soon as you can so that using them becomes second nature. Here are my presentation secrets for how to work with your visuals.

When showing visuals, whether as a handout or overhead transparencies, onscreen, or whatever, give your audience the transition to what you’re about to show on the next visual BEFORE you change the visual. ...
