2. Scaling – An Art and a Science
No matter how well thought out, for an architecture that is created on a slide deck but not backed by a proof of concept or real world implementation failure, chances of failure are high. The bottom line is that a theoretical architecture created without much real-world experience can lead us to failure. A possible exception is an architecture that works well for a specific app or a particular company. But that does not mean we can use the same architecture elsewhere and it’s guaranteed to work.
