Sir,

We have the honour to acknowledge your letter of the 28th instant, calling upon us to express our sentiments on the best mode of giving effect to the wishes of the Government for the communication of sound practical knowledge to the medical students in the Hindu and Mohamedan colleges of Calcutta.
