SENSING THE WORLD
The ability to sense avatars and objects is a very important technique in creating interesting interactions. Sensors
allow you to monitor who is visiting your land, to cause lights to turn on automatically and doors to open, and to
create attention-grabbing animations as objects interact with each other. In a forest you need bees that pollinate
flowers and deer that startle and run away. In a city slum you need rats that run out of dark alleys and police cars
that drive past on patrol. In a store you need greeters that say hello, lights that turn on, and doors that open.
