There were tough problems to solve in organizations before the pandemic, and now there are more of them, as well as new challenges that no one ever anticipated. As an ambitious leader, when you spot a tough problem, you can: (1) ignore it and hope it goes away or someone else deals with it or (2) tackle it head-on and achieve phenomenal results.
Of course, one person can’t handle all the tough problems. You need to be selective. But how do you decide which problems to take on? As such, Managing Cross-Functional Teams is Stage 6 of the 2iC Excellence Framework (Figure 14).
