MARK SUCCESSFUL MILESTONES
To “celebrate” traditionally means doing something special or enjoyable for an important event, occasion, or holiday. It acknowledges and praises individual and group achievements and goal attainment, and it is generally reserved for the end of a process. This is especially true in the individualistic U.S. society, where goal attainment is the ultimate objective and where the process of getting to the goal perhaps takes a secondary focus.
