Meet JavaScript
ECMAScript, or JavaScript as it’s mostly known (I’m going to stick with JavaScript from now on), is one of the most misunderstood programming languages in the world. Because of its rocky history from a simple scripting language to a full-blown development language, it has retained some unusual behaviors and qualities that originally set it apart. Reviewing these is a good practice since even long-time fans may forget about them.
