CHAPTER 7: APPLICATION OF SECURITY ARCHITECTURE TO CLOUD COMPUTING

Chapter 6 introduced some fundamental concepts of security architecture. In this chapter we begin to apply some of these concepts to the area of Cloud computing. The use of a security architecture methodology allows organisations to approach Cloud-based deliveries with the confidence that their security concerns have been identified and appropriately managed. Rather than acting as a blocker, we can use security as a mechanism for enabling organisations to take advantage of the undoubted benefits of Cloud computing.
