Abstract

This chapter provides an overview of the security issues involved in the Internet of Things (IoT), the emerging network that connects electronic devices for information acquisition, exchange, and processing, which will become increasingly vulnerable to attackers in the future. IoT security must consider a wider range of issues than traditional cybersecurity, including data confidentiality, service availability and integrity, antimalware, information integrity, privacy protection, and access control.
