Wireless-Network Issues
Wireless networking is all over the place. As systems become more mobile, it’s necessary to have wireless networks available. It’s not difficult to find free wireless access points. Many of these access points are not secure. In fact, many do not even require passwords. A lot of factors go into hardening your wireless networks to protect against unauthorized access and guard the integrity of the data being transmitted over those networks. Over time, changes to the protocols used for connecting to wireless networks have been improved to remove the vulnerabilities that were there in early versions and implementations.
