CompTIA puts no limit on the number or frequency of retakes, but you must pay another exam fee each time you take this exam. This fee depends on the price you paid for the initial exam. This can be a relatively heavy toll; therefore, you should study and prepare as thoroughly as possible in case you have to take this exam more than once. This will keep overall costs down. Better to wait and study a little longer and to spend less money than to rush to the next retake, only to fail again!
