SUPPOSE YOUR BOSS ASSIGNS YOU a special project, say, researching possible lunar locations for future growth and expansion. Whatever the topic is, you do your due diligence. You pull together your findings, package them up in a PDF, and send them off to your boss. And you hear nothing. Silence. A week goes by with no response. When you’ve all but forgotten about this little project, you get an e-mail response from your boss: “Thanks. This is what I needed.”
