Another wince-inducing title from the editor of Electronics World.

A further article in December 1994 by another author, Mr Bengt Olsson [1], also caused me to begin my own investigations, not least because few performance details were given in the original. The concept might have worked, but it did not, so all I could really do was say so, adding some more positive material on two-stage power amplifiers in general. They turned out to be rather awkward things.
