Mobile phones in America have reached full saturation. In fact, two-thirds of us now use smartphones. Tasks that were once annoying to attempt on our phones are now second-nature. We are increasingly seeing e-mails on our mobile devices first, and using what’s in our hands as the primary search tool for any real-time want. More than half of all smartphone users check their social networks on their mobile devices daily. Younger generations are using their mobile devices as the chief way they digest content, make purchasing decisions, and connect transparently with anyone and everyone—not just friends.
