There are really only three ways to grow sales organically:
- Sell to more or different customers.
- Sell more or different products to existing customers.
- Communicate more or differently about your products and services to customers and prospects.
The planners in this chapter comprise the Selling Boldly Toolkit and they are designed to help you systematically and proactively pursue all three of these approaches. The planners ask you to think of and write down people (customers and prospects); what you can sell them (products or services) to help them a great deal; and how you will communicate with them.
The sales planners are simple worksheets designed to help you quickly plan your proactive sales work and take control of your sales. They will help you infuse proactive actions into your otherwise reactive day. They will help you feel in control of your work, to take control of your sales work, and to communicate with your customers and prospects.
