A crucial part of the auction process is packing and shipping the fragile collectibles you sell. Pack poorly, and you risk having the item damaged in transit. Pack too well or choose the wrong shipping service, and you'll spend more than you make by selling the item. It's a balancing act.

Determining Your Shipping/Handling Fees

The good news is that most collectors are willing to pay handsomely to ensure their recently purchased collectible arrives in pristine condition. The tough part is determining how much to charge the buyer for shipping the item, since you need to specify a shipping/handling fee as part of your item listing.
