7. Selling on eBay
Etsy is the largest crafts-specific marketplace on the Internet, but it pales in size in comparison to eBay, which is the largest online marketplace, period. If you want the largest possible audience for the crafts you sell, eBay is the place to be.
Understanding eBay
What is eBay? As you can see in Figure 7.1, it’s an online marketplace, with categories for all sorts of items. I could describe the site in more detail, but the best description comes from eBay itself:
eBay is the world’s largest online marketplace, where practically anyone can buy and sell practically anything.
