Abstract:

Environmental sustainability is a pressing and growing problem due to issues such as climate change, pollution and disturbances associated with biodiversity. A major cause of these environmental threats is pollutants in the atmosphere. In this chapter, we give a general outline of how metal oxide gas sensors can be prepared and how they have been used to monitor levels of environmentally important gases.
