Hold Your People to Higher Standards

Lynne is a regional vice president for a large tech company. She is a very strong leader and has been promoted several times. As I was writing this book, Lynne and I were discussing the content for a coaching workshop I was doing for her team about leaders and employee expectations.

“Nathan, let me tell you what is scary,” she said. “Most of our current employees would not meet the expectations we discuss with our applicants during the interview process.”
