As this chapter provides an introduction to the Azure environment and building your first Function App, we will not elaborate on all of the advanced configuration, which will be covered in the following chapters. The next few pages will discuss some of the advanced settings and tools that are most relevant when getting started.
In the new Functions Portal, when you click on the Function App itself, you will see a configuration view broken down into four tabs -- Overview, Settings, Platform features, and API Definition.
In Settings, you can configure a number of advanced features.
