Dear Search Committee Members:
Upon reading your recent advertisement, I was quite interested in the
Executive Director position described.
After reviewing my résumé, you will find I have an extensive background in
management. My present position holds responsibilities for such things as
managing daily business, reporting directly to the board of directors, and
supervising staff of 36 employees. Previously, I was an operations manager
for an international company with responsibility of an operation budget of
$3 million, a staff of almost 200, and 4,200 contracted customers across the
United States. Last year, my staff and I broke the sales record held by the
company for more than 20 years.
Evaluating alternatives, developing an action plan, and directing implemen-
tation of these plans is what I have been doing for the past 18 years.
I look forward to the opportunity of discussing the position and how my
experience can benefit your organization.
Sincerely,
Pat McDonald
