This app, being a web app, has one major difference from the rest of the apps we’ll build over the next few weeks: we’ll build the rest of the apps for a particular platform or framework, or both. As developers, having a framework is a good thing. It limits our options to working within the conventions and structure of the framework and allows us to focus. Ideally the creators and community of users have already made a number of decisions about fundamental things so that we don’t have to rethink those choices every time we start a new project.
