Now let’s talk a bit about the cross-platform tools we covered in the book.

A Preference for Native

As discussed in the introduction, one of the reasons for choosing these three tools was that they produce native apps instead of wrapped-HTML apps. The assumption here is that native apps should be preferred. Even if there is a savings in development time to deliver a cross-platform app using a web-view app, which is only the case for a relatively new developer, the difference in quality negates the benefit.
