Using Visual Studio Code and Other Editors

This chapter provides an introduction and a deeper look at Visual Studio Code and how it works for you as a developer. It's widely used, and it is also the chosen code editor that Microsoft uses for the SharePoint Framework guidance and sample code. You are free to use any text or code editor you're most familiar with, as the SharePoint Framework does not require you to specifically use Visual Studio Code.
