John Bell developed and is currently the managing director of Ogilvy’s global social media marketing practice—360 Degree Digital Influence. Bell has developed and executed enterprise social media strategy for the Ford Motor Company, DuPont, Unilever, and more of the world’s leading brands. Bell began his digital career as the head of Visual Design at Downtown Digital, a collaborative effort between Viacom and AT&T designed to promote interactive television. As Creative Director, he helped transform Discovery.com into 14 Web services, developing online experiences for diverse properties such as TLC, Animal Planet, and the Travel Channel. Just prior to joining Ogilvy, Bell was involved with HiFusion, a start-up Internet service designed specifically for K-12 students that was sold to Sylvan Ventures in 2000. Bell studied communications and European history at the University of Pennsylvania. He is past president of the Word of Mouth Marketing Association and teaches graduate studies at Johns Hopkins University.

Ben Berkowitz is cofounder and chief executive officer of SeeClickFix, a Web-based organization that allows local residents to actively improve their own neighborhoods. The web site, which is active in all 50 states as well as internationally, won the Pitch It Prize in 2010 from We Media, an organization dedicated to the improvement of digital media.
