12 Coordinate and Communicate Every Day
The last thing most people want is more meetings. If your team meets weekly, each meeting is probably at least an hour with time spent discussing announcements, the last week’s work, and the coming week’s plans. Daily meetings are very different. They are brief team encounters that encourage interaction and communication without putting a huge dent in your schedule.
Each team member briefly shares what they are working on and what problems they’ve run into. A good rule of thumb is to spend no more than one to two minutes per person. Remember that this meeting has the entire team tied up, so be mindful of the burn rate; keep it short and to the point.
