CHAPTER 15 First Day/First Shot
Now that we're all on our good behavior, let's start looking at the work that goes into making a shot. As DP you've arrived on the set early. You've gotten coffee. You've found the catering truck and the honey wagon (where you go after visiting catering). You've said hello to your crew and to some folks in the other departments. You check in with the AD and make sure he knows you're there. If any horror has developed overnight, he'll be the one to tell you.
