Abstract

A discussion of wireless ad hoc networks in general is followed by an explanation of the features of wireless mesh networks (WMN) and wireless sensor networks (WSN). Routing protocols of proactive and reactive variants are presented. The Internet of things (IoT) is explained. IoT is composed of systems and networks that are primary subjects of this book, including WLAN and WPAN, as well as devices in infrastructure-less networks.
