Working with Attachments
You know that an e-mail message has an attachment by the paper clip icon that precedes the message header. To display the attachment, click the paper clip icon in the Folder list, or open the message and then double-click the attached file icon. A message box opens, warning you that the attachment might contain a virus, but also providing two options for working with the attachment: Open and Save. You can also choose to save the attachment so you can open it later, or you can choose to open the attachment from within Outlook. You can open the attachment if the program with which the attachment was created is installed on your computer. You should always know the origin of an attachment before you save or open it.
