Typical Switched-Capacitor Filter
This chapter is devoted to simplified design with a typical switched-capacitor IC filter (the National Semiconductor MF10). The IC is chosen because it is universal and can provide all five basic filter types (bandpass, notch, lowpass, highpass, and allpass) as well as responses (Butterworth, Chebyshev, Bessel, and elliptic) by connecting a few external resistors and a clock. We start with a description of the basic circuit.
