Although this is the first book that I’ve written by myself, it was certainly not a solo effort. Many others provided both material and emotional support, without which this book would not have taken shape.

First and foremost are the many talented managers who realized that simplicity was not just a nice word on a corporate value statement, but an imperative for success.
