The Soul of Production
As the final stage of the media production process, postproduction affords you the last opportunity to reach the goal you originally set as proposed for the client. Regardless of the saying, “Fix it in post,” you cannot correct all errors in judgment, miscalculations, and poor production techniques in postproduction. If the material is not available or is technically deficient, you may not have any means of replacing it or rectifying the problems created in preproduction or production.
