Your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch is likely your lifeline to the world — and that includes finding information you seek, when and where you need it.

But searching for online information can be a time-consuming endeavor — especially if you need to open up the browser, tap the search box, type out a query, and wait for results (which you must then wade through).

A much easier way to get the information you need is to ask Siri to provide it for you. Using your voice, simply state your request, and you should receive an answer on the spot.

This goes for everything — from finding recipes to locating a country on a map, from accessing currency exchanges and movie listings to finding definitions of words, crunching mathematical equations, and figuring out the current price of gas in your neighborhood.
