The Analyze Phase

Once the belt, team, and the sponsor are satisfied with the measurement system and process capability and have also completed the process map, they should start digging deep to find the root cause(s) of the problem or defects. Six Sigma offers a superb set of tools to analyze the data and establish a clear unambiguous relationship between KPIVs and KPOVs. The C&E matrix is actually a transition to the analyze phase.
