Six Sigma Case Studies and Applications
Six Sigma approach is like a game of chess. In chess there are pieces that can move with specific rules. But pieces must work together to win the game. There are infinite ways of winning the game but great chess players would do it most efficiently. Similarly, in Six Sigma we have a set of tools which must be made to work together to get the desired results. The tools are obviously powerful but we must choose the right tools and make a combination that takes us to the goal with minimum effort. The objective of this chapter is to give some flavour of Six Sigma in practice.
