By now we have encountered a number of examples where video has played a role in mocking up, sketching, and capturing various design ideas. There is a subspecies of this genre that I want to spend some time discussing, for a number of reasons. It is what can best be called Envisionment Videos. As their name suggests, these are clips that are created to communicate some holistic view showing an envisioned system in context. Unlike many of the examples that we have seen, they go beyond just presenting a demo.
