Incoming Message Filtering
Message/connection filtering on the inbound side is controlled by going to this window: Global Settings==>Message Delivery (right-click)==>Properties. Please note that to activate any of the filtering options on this page, the respective filter must be applied under the Default SMTP Virtual Server. See the section “Activating Filtering” in order to accomplish this.
Connection Filtering
Connection filtering enables the administrator to control what servers are allowed to connect to an Exchange mail server. To view the connection filtering control page, go to the following Connection Filtering tab. The Connection Filtering pane that comes up is shown in Figure 10.6.
